London Day Retreat : alignment

ALIGNMENT

I am back in London hosting a day retreat at The Lodge Space. I am excited to say that we have the stunning yoga room this time with the view into the garden. This day retreat is going to differ to my previous ones as I am going to guide you through some deep self-discovery work through contemplation and journal prompts. At the heart of yoga is self-study (Svadhyaya), that is what we are doing on the mat, in our meditation, with breathwork and journaling. This day retreat is about getting into greater alignment with yourself using the above awareness and energy practices. The more in alignment we can get the more conscious our actions are and the more courageous we can be.

Energy shifter

In the afternoon I will guide you through a blend of practices including journaling, breath-work, visualisation, tapping, movement and restorative yoga. This session will help you to explore yourself and release anything that you are holding on too. It will leave your body and mind feeling more spacious and elevated.

What does the workshop entail?


You’ll bring the unconscious into the conscious through guided journaling and self-enquiry. This will be sprinkled through out the session.

Journaling


You’ll be guided through various breathing practices with breath holds to help you release anything that feels stuck and to invite a sense of lightness in the mind and body. (If you are pregnant you can do the breathing but you can’t hold the breath).

Breath-work


You’ll use tapping to help you remove any blocks or resistance and anything that is getting in your way. It will leave you with an energetic shift and a feeling of greater positivity.

Tapping


You’ll be guided through a visualisation practice to plant new seeds or reaffirm things that are already there. It will help you bring to the foreground what you’d like to move towards.

Visualisation


A few restorative poses will be held to create greater space within so things can come through from the unconscious mind. The poses are also incredibly soothing for the nervous system and can feel utterly delicious.

Do I need to have any yoga experience?
All levels are welcome but some yoga experience is recommended.


Do I need to bring anything?
Bring a pen and paper as I’ll be guiding you through journal prompts.


What is the refund policy?
You can have a full refund up to 3 weeks before the event. If it’s within three weeks you can pass your place on to a friend.
